Hackers reveal that they got access to celebrity Instagram accounts

RepKnight -UK cyber security company accessed the full database and identified 500 A-list celebrities who have been exposed from the insta hack. Taylor Swift, Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, Sachin Tendulkar are all in the database.

As reported by The Daily Beast, 

A hacker group -"Doxagram" recently revealed that they have created a searchable database of Instagram accounts for celebrities, politicians and other high profile individuals which includes emails and phone numbers of celebrities and ordinary people.Hackers are now claiming to be offering data of 6 million users on the dark web.

They are being sold on the dark web for the price of $10 per search in form of  Bitcoin via a searchable database. This leak identified by the experts as the 'Biggest attack since the iCloud hack.'

This Monday; Selena Gomez's account was seized and several full-frontal naked photos of ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber were posted shortly after, which was believed to be the first instance of the attack using a bug in Instagram's API the firm has now fixed.
Instagram confirmed in a statement last Thursday that there had been an exploitable bug, which they claim had already been patched. The photo-sharing site also assured users that it is already working with law enforcement officials to further investigate the matter.
