Instagram starts rolling out its new feature "Caption Warning" this feature will put a warning label on comments left on Instagram posts that may match spam or reported comments made by cyberbullies this anti-bullying tool also helps in curbing hate speech.
Instagram is reportedly using its Artificial Intelligence that can detect harmful and offensive content on captions, comments, photos, and videos.
As reported by inews.co.uk, if someone bullies you on an Instagram caption on your photos or videos, it will immediately be flagged with a notification:
"This caption looks similar to others that have been reported".
The user will be given the option to revise the message or share it anyway.
How to Restrict Someone in Instagram:
Instagram back in October rolled out this "Restrict" feature that lets users stop people who bully them via offensive posts or abusive comments.
You can restrict someone by swiping left on a comment, through the "Privacy tab" under Settings, or you can restrict someone directly by using the profile of the account you intend to restrict. "Once Restrict is enabled, comments on your posts from a person you have restricted will only be visible to that person," said the company.
In Addition to this, Instagram will be limiting people under 18 years of age from viewing posts from celebrity influencers that promote cosmetic surgery and various weight-loss products. by the Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri, "It's our responsibility to create a safe environment on Instagram."
