Brave Browser has added a new "404 detection system", with an automated Wayback Machine lookup process to its desktop browser, the Internet Archive has announced.

Brave’s desktop app version 1.4 now comes with the Internet Archive built-in marking the first time the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine has been supported natively inside a desktop browser.
By default, Brave's Browser now offers users one-click access to archived versions of Web pages that might otherwise not be available online, in addition to the 404 (page not found) condition,

Brave browser now also points out other 14 common errors including; Error 408, 410, 451, 500, 502, 503, 504, 509, 520, 521, 523, 524, 525, and 526. 

For the past 23 years, the Wayback Machine has managed to archive more than 900 billion URLs and more than 400 billion Web pages and adds many hundred million more archived URLs each day. As such, there is a good chance archived versions of “missing” pages you are looking for are available.
Wayback Machine is already available for Google Chrome and Firefox via extensions, but installation creates just enough friction to keep the average user from even knowing about it. Activating web page archives by default is an important step toward ensuring internet users can view content even if it has been deleted from the original source.
