Xiaomi MIUI 12 was announced at a launch event in China today (27th April 2020) and plenty of eligible devices were enlisted to receive the update.
Recently, some of the development information comes out that the MIUI 12 will also include improvement in new UI, Dark mode 2.0, screen recording, a new control center interface, and much more.
While the animation and gesture improvements have been started and the early beta testers already give it a thumbs up. However, some of the little bugs and improvements are yet to polished completely.

Official MIUI 12 Roadmap

Updated on April 27, 2020: On today, April 27, Xiaomi has finally announced the official MIUI 12 Global Stable update roll-out timeline on their official Website. The stable update version will be fully upgraded at the end of June. In between these days, all the eligible Xiaomi and Redmi series devices will receive the OTA update via batches. If you want to get the first experience, you can apply for the internal test today and start to push it at 18:00 tonight!

We have shared the full update roadmap details below:

• First Batch (End of June) - Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Youth Edition, Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi 9, Redmi K30 Pro/ K30 Pro Zoom, Redmi K30 5G/ 4G, Redmi K20 Pro/ K20 Pro Premium Edition, Redmi K20.
• Second Batch- Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 2S, Mi CC9 Pro, Mi CC9 Meitu Edition, Mi9 SE, Mi 8 Transparent Edition, Redmi, Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7.

Xiaomi has also mentioned that there will be more additional features or improvements available on MIUI 12. Such as Dark Mode 2.0, Enhanced Always-On Display(AOD), custom function layout in the camera app, Improved Privacy protection and security with a new Mobile AI Compute Engine (MACE) framework technology, Global Inversion, Android 10 gesture navigation, and smooth animations, Screen Time and Focus Mode, Video Editor in Gallery App.
