Google Delays the Release of Android-11
Google delays Android 11 ~ The Tech Giant Google today announced that it is delaying the first beta of Android 11 by about a month. So instead, Google is releasing a previously unscheduled "Preview 4" release of Android 11 today, and it's completely pushing the entire schedule back a month. Google also announced The first beta will set to officially launch on June 3, via only an Android -centric online event, "Android 11: The Beta Launch Show".

According to Google vice president Dave Burke --
“When we started planning Android 11, we didn’t expect the kinds of changes that would find their way to all of us, across nearly every region in the world”.
“These have challenged us to stay flexible and find new ways to work together, especially with our developer community. To help us meet those challenges we’re announcing an update to our release timeline.” added.
Google notes that it wants to push the needs of the Android ecosystem, which has obviously started work on early app testing for Android 11 based on the company’s guidance, with the current environment during the coronavirus pandemic and the other priorities that come with that, Delaying the release by a month seems like a reasonable approach in this context.
Android 11 Developer Previews:
Here are the Official Schedules for the Final Android 11 Beta releases;
Originally, Google planned to release three Developer Preview releases of Android 11, followed by three Beta releases in May and June and then a final release in July; it delivered the third Developer Preview about two weeks ago.
Now, however, Google has announced an unexpected fourth Developer Preview, which will be followed by three Beta releases in June, July, and August, respectively. It will then deliver release candidate builds in August, followed by the final release most likely in September. This means that Android 11 will now be delivered at the same time, or perhaps even later than is usually the case.
The release of the final version of Android 11 is marked in for Q3, but Google is not striving up an exact date at this stage. Google puts a positive spin on the delay, saying to developers:
"Developers should target the Beta 1 release date of June 3 for releasing a compatible app to gather feedback from the larger group of Android Beta users. And that group will be larger because, like with previous releases, Google will make over-the-air updates available to users who opt into the beta and have a compatible device. The list of compatible devices for the beta remains to be seen, but it’ll likely include all recent Pixel phones, starting with the Pixel 2".

" It sounds like the event will cover a lot of the hype and consumer-centric news of Google I/O, and Google says the developer-centric talks that it "had originally planned for Google I/O" will go online later that day, too. It sounds like we'll be getting a huge info dump.
