Sony's Xperia has started rolling out the Android 10 update for the Sony Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. Here's what you need to know.

The Sony Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus were the first two mid-range models of the Japanese brand to use the 21: 9 screens, showing the change in design and direction of the brand. These two phones arrived in stores last year, with Android Pie as the operating system. Sony promised that the update to Android 10 would be released in the first months of 2020.
Finally, the time has come. Now, it appears that Sony is officially rolling out the Android 10 update for the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus along with the March Security Update.

According to users on Russian forum 4PDA, Sony is pushing the stable Android 10 update to Xperia 10 and 10 Plus users. The software version is 53.1.A.2.2 (bumped from 53.0.A.14.47) with the March 2020 Android Security Patch Level and is available for both the single SIM (10: I3113 / 10 Plus: I3213) and dual SIM (10: I4113 / 10 Plus: I4213) models in Russia and other European countries.

Both Xperia 10 devices feature 64GB of internal storage, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack, SD card slot, USB-C, and NFC. The primary difference between the two is in terms of processing power. While the Xperia 10 Plus is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 platform, the other one is powered by a slightly less-powerful Snapdragon 630 SoC. The regular model also features a depth sensor, which is substituted by an 8MP telephoto shooter on the Plus variant.
If you have any of these two Sony phones, it doesn't seem like you are going to have to wait too long to update to Android 10.
