Tech Giant, Apple is expected to launch Augmented Reality Headset in 2022 followed by AR Glasses in 2023.
Apple AR Headset & AR Glasses
As reported by The Bloomberg, the new Apple iPad Pro, which is likely to be expected to launch in the first half of 2020 with in-built two Camera Sensors, followed up with a 3D Camera sensor system and another one from a current iPad model. This, as per the report, would allow users to create a three-dimensional reconstruction of people, objects and rooms. These new apple sensors are also expected to make their way to the new iPhone series that is expected to launch with 5G connectivity in the fall of the year.
The report also affirms that the Apple AR Headset developed by the Cupertino, California based company, as mentioned before, would be relatively large in size and similar in design to facebook's Oculus Quest Virtual Reality (VR) headset.
This report was also confirmed by a Bloomberg report, in which it stated that Apple's AR / VR headset would focus on virtual meetings, gaming and watching videos. The report by The Information also stated the tech giant would launch a smaller version of its VR headset the following year - AR Glasses - that as per the report would be designed to be worn all day long.
