Several iPhone users were left shocked the moment they figured that their phone’s camera gets automatically turned on in the background while they’re scrolling through the Facebook feed. might be actively using your camera without your knowledge while you’re scrolling your feed.The bug first appeared to the iPhone user Joshua Maddux who was running the latest iOS 13. He took this incident posted to Twitter to report the unusual behavior, which occurs in the Facebook app for iOS. In the footage, he shared that, you can see his iPhone camera actively working.

Facebook Vice President of Integrity Guy Rosen first tweeted that it “sounds like a bug” and the social networking platform was investigating. “Thanks for flagging this. This sounds like a bug, we are looking into it,” tweeted Rosen in reply to a user.
Facebook needs is the discovery of a bug that calls the company’s commitment to privacy into question. And yet, that’s exactly what happened this week.
