Tech Giant Apple Inc. has officially announced the much-awaited compact phone 'iPhone SE', a lower-cost budget iPhone that starts at $399 for a version with 64GB of storage.
The new 'iPhone SE' has the same basic shape and looks like the iPhone 8, has a 4.7-inch screen and a starting price tag of $399, moreover large bezels on the top and bottom, and a home button with Touch ID. It’s a design that has stayed consistent since the iPhone 6, which makes the iPhone SE essentially the fifth generation of that same look. Apple knows this design well.
Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing in a statement;

Coming to its specifications, Here are some of the interesting features of the new Apple's 'iPhone SE' 2020, take a look at each of this;
- The new Apple 'iPhone SE' is powered by the Apple-designed "A13 Bionic", which is the Fastest Chip (Processor) in a Smartphone, and the Best Single-Camera System in an iPhone.
- iPhone SE featuring a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, paired with Touch ID for industry-leading security. iPhone SE comes in a compact design, reinvented from the inside out, and is the most affordable iPhone.
- It has a 12-megapixel camera on the back and a 7-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
- It supports Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit LTE, and dual-SIMs. (The second one is an eSIM, however.) It also supports Haptic Touch, which is Apple’s replacement for 3D Touch, amounting to a long press with haptic feedback.
- It can support 18W fast charging if you have the right adapter. It uses a Lightning connector for charging, of course, and it will also support Qi wireless charging.
iPhone SE- Pricing and Availability
It is available for preorder this Friday, April 17th, and it will ship on April 24th.
iPhone SE will be available in three different variants 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in black, white and (PRODUCT) RED starting at $399 (US). Customers can also get iPhone SE for $9.54 a month or $229 with trade-in from apple.com, in the Apple Store app and Apple Stores. iPhone SE is available through Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers (prices may vary).
